To enhance your venue booking forms with custom questions in Scribe Bookings, follow the detailed steps below. This feature allows you to gather additional information from your customers when they make bookings, ensuring that all necessary details are collected efficiently.

Add Custom Questions

The custom question will now appear in the booking form for your customers, helping you to collect specific information needed for each booking efficiently.

  1. Navigate to Setup:

    • Log into Scribe Bookings.
    • Navigate to SetupVenues.
  2. Access Custom Questions

    • Click on the venue name or select the three dots and Edit next to the venue you want to add custom questions to. 
    • Scroll down to the Custom Questions section on the venue page. This section is designed to allow you to configure questions that are relevant to your venue bookings.
  3. Configure the Question:

    • Show Option: Check the Show box to ensure that the question will be visible to customers when they are making a booking.
    • Mandatory Question: If the question is essential for the booking process, tick the box to mark it as mandatory. This will require customers to answer the question before they can complete their booking.
    • Enter New Question: In the Enter New Question field, type in the question you want to ask your customers. Make sure it is clear and concise to avoid any confusion.
    • Question Title: Enter a title for your question.
  4. Save Your Changes:

    • After entering and configuring your question(s), scroll to the bottom of the venue page.
    • Click on the Save button to apply the changes.

The custom question(s) will now appear in the booking form for your customers, helping you to collect specific information needed for each booking efficiently.
