When managing your allotments in Scribe, you can attach files to enhance record-keeping and communications. Below are the details regarding the types of files you can attach and the maximum file size allowed.

Supported File Types

Scribe Allotments supports a wide range of file types across various categories. Below is the list of supported file formats:

Images

  • PNG (.png)
  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
  • BMP (.bmp)

Documents

  • Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx)
  • PDF (.pdf)
  • Comma-Separated Values (.csv)
  • Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx, .pps)
  • Open Document Format (.odp)
  • Text Files (.txt)

Archives

  • 7-Zip (.7z)
  • RAR (.rar)

Audio

  • Audio Interchange File Format (.aif)
  • MP3 (.mp3)

Video

  • 3GPP Multimedia Files (.3g2, .3gp)
  • Audio Video Interleave (.avi)
  • Flash Video (.flv)
  • MPEG-4 (.m4v, .mp4)

Maximum File Size

The system does not explicitly limit file size but defaults to a maximum file size of 128 MB for attachments. If you encounter issues uploading larger files, consider compressing them or reducing their size.
