Here's a quick guide on how to export your council's asset data as CSV from Parish Online:

1. Navigate to the Assets Layer

  • Locate the Layers panel on the left-hand side of the screen after logging in.
  • Click on the relevant asset layer that contains the data you want to export (e.g., benches, streetlights, buildings).
  • Ensure the layer is visible by checking the box next to the asset type.

2. Access the Export Function

  • Click on the Layer Options icon (three dots or a settings cog) next to the asset layer.
  • In the drop-down menu, select the Export option.

3. Choose CSV Export Format

  • In the export options, select CSV. This format is ideal for viewing and managing asset data in spreadsheets or databases.
  • The file will automatically begin downloading.

4. Save the Exported CSV File

  • Once the download completes, save the file to your desired location on your computer.
  • Make sure to name the file appropriately (e.g., CouncilAssets_Sept2024.csv) for easy identification.
