Google has phased out the ability to create Chrome apps. This development impacts all users and companies worldwide. For more details, you can refer to this article: Google announced the end of Chrome Apps and it will be the complete cessation by 2022.

As an alternative, you can create a shortcut on your desktop for easier access to Scribe. You can also pin this shortcut to your toolbar for added convenience. Here are the steps:

Creating a shortcut

  1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to the Scribe website.
  2. Once you're on the website, minimize the browser so you can see both the browser and the desktop.
  3. Resize the browser window so you can see both the browser and desktop. Then select the icon located to the left of the URL in the address bar.
  4. Drag that icon from the browser to the desktop.

This will create a shortcut to the Scribe website on your desktop.

Pinning the shortcut to your taskbar

  1. Locate the shortcut you just created on your desktop.
  2. Right-click on the shortcut and select 'Pin to taskbar'.

The shortcut will now be added to your taskbar for easy access.

If you need more detailed instructions, simply Google "How to Create a Desktop Shortcut to a Website" or "How to pin a Website shortcut to taskbar".
